Writer-turned-director Trivikram Srinivas who is famous for his thought-provoking dialogues and punchlines says he has two unlikely enemies. Trivikram says that those who say he writes punch lines and those who say he is a ‘Matala Mantrikudu‘ are not right.
“I don’t know how to write punch lines. I really don’t know. I don’t have the habit of sitting with 10 people and discussing with them what kind of a punchline is needed for a given situation. I just write my lines spontaneously. People say I write ‘Prasa‘ dialogues. Frankly, I stopped it with ‘Nuvve Kavali‘. After that movie, I noticed that some writers too started penning ‘Prasa’ dialogues. People can copy a pattern but not the thought. So, I started focusing on the thought more,” Trivikram says.
‘Aravindha Sametha‘, his latest movie, is a big hit. “I wanted to become a filmmaker right when I was in Class X or so,” but for my father, i’ve done my post graduation, later fulfilled my dream”, he said.
