The young Indian test debutant Prithvi Shah couldn’t have asked for more than this as it has become nothing less than a dream debut for this young lad. He became just the 15th Indian cricketer to score a century in his debut test. Prithvi Shah reached this milestone in the first test against West Indies today in Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.
At 18 years and 329 days, Shah is also the second youngest Indian to score a test century after the maestro Sachin Tendulkar who scored his maiden test century at the age of 17 years and 107 days.
With this century, Shaw has etched his name the likes of cricketers Lala Amarnath, Mohammad Azharuddin, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Shikar Dhawan, and few others who kicked off their test career with a century on debut.
